    Modding FX effects?

    I really want to be able to open, edit and create new FX for Assault Squad and the only program I can find to do this is FXEditor which was made a while ago for the original Men of War I believe.

    Unfortunately I cannot get it to work with Assault Squad (anyone else tried it?) and wondered if there is another similar program that would do the same job?

    I think you might be onto something here.
    It's possible to create the effect. The problem is exporting it.
    What format could it be in to be able to work in GEM. All the effect files are .DEF files.
    To my knowledge, if it's a .DEF file, all you have to do is create a mod folder and have the effect with the name of the effect you want to replace inside the right FX directory.

    Is it possible to export from a format from 3DS Max with FumeFX that is supported by GEM?

    FXEditor only works with MoW, was not made to work with MoWAS FX's.

    Hi i install FX Editor but i get 2 errors in console log and I cant edit or Preview any fx. Here is the error i get, I get the last version of Nvidia Physx, I did something wrong.

    Gepanzert Faust, you probably gave up on this mod already because it's been quite a while since you started. You have already ported some effects as shown in the video. Maybe even more if you continued your work after the video was released. Is it not possible to release the mod files to the public that you have already finished through your hard work? If you wont continue working on this mod then maybe release what's already done.. You would make me and many other people very happy with this mod which will give a new meaning to Men of War realism and effects. Hope you haven't given up completely on this mod.

    Yes, I have downloaded the editor FXEditor he has established also yes, works in A.S.
    Also allows to make new effects!
