    IMPORTANT: Benghazi, Biak Island, Russian Campaign MoW Conversion, Harbor Offensive, Volga Assault, Castle, Koropove & Afrika"road to Safi" REQUIRE latest version(patch) or at least 2.05.13 to work properly.

    INSTALLATION:

    - Extract the mod folder from the archive.
    In this folder, you will find the mod folder that you have to move in the "mods" folder inside your Men of War: Assault Squad directory (if this folder does not exist, create it)

    Normal Path to Men of War Assault Squad:

    - DvD version: C:\Program Files\1C Company\Men of War Assault Squad\mods
    - Steam Version: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\men of war assault squad\mods

    *Try not to have multiple different mods loaded at the same time as it may cause problems.

    Brand new map! Sicily, Italy.
    Brand new skirmish on a brand new map brought to you by Vashyo and DJSatane. You are in charge of American forces. Beautiful map, the skirmish includes basic original DMS skirmishes at the core but with number of enhancements. Enemy ai posses number of logic and aggressive tweaks which makes especailly fighting against their armor much tougher. Late in the skirmish Germans bring even special threat from the sea!
    NOTE - This skrimish was actually completed early in 2013 but never released, we decided to improve it, polish it and officially release it finally. This will be our last new mod for MoW:AS 1, we have been working hard officially for MoW:AS 2 and aside from official content any mods we may release in future will be released for MoW:AS 2.

    Brand new map! 1944, Biak Island, New Guinea, Operation Kon.
    You are in charge of japaniese forces with orders to drive UK & Americans from the island. Wipe out UK forces defending the island and survive various American counter attacks in the jungle. Various sub objectives including taking on Churchil AVRE and its radio spotter late in the mission. Prepare yourself for variety of UK armor and repell American forces. Various improvements in script with regard how some of the enemy armor is spawned without need to be all preloaded at start of the mission. Highly improved recrew script for ai especially for mg/at guns to make sure there are no stupid things like sniper recrewing mg or soldiers running across map to recrew at gun. Improved ai logic in cases such as sniper, sniper will act a lot more like a sniper now should on ai side. Enjoy and good luck.

    Difficulty levels affect player money, health values, uk reinforcements, however usa counter attacks remain same across all difficulties so plan accordingly.

    Brand new map! You must first use stealth to your advantage and disable or destroy the radio, you can disable radio by just getting within touching distance of it, this will allow you to remain stealthy and not raise the alarm. Optional objective during stealth part of the mission is destroying all 6 Stuh self propelled guns in the hangar. If you manage to destroy the STUH then you will not have to face them during the mission. Once you are discovered or a dead body is spoted alarm will raise and you will have to disable radio fast before a lot of germans rush to attack you. If you disable the radio you can choose to skip right to the offensive part of the skirmish by clicking a menu button. Good luck!

    November 1942, Your mission is to help the russian conscripts assault and drive back the german defensive forces from the Volga River, you will gain money slowly and by clearing areas of enemies at the map. You will lose the map if you lose all men or if germans reach the docks. Mission is infantry only, so use caution when advancing.

    June 1944, You are assigned to defend an important Castle east of Berlin. Russian forces expect to attack from the North along with possible East/West raids. Extra CP resources will available at regular 5 minute intervals. You have to hold out 60 minutes during which there will be small breaks when enemy stops bringing new forces. Enemy cannot capture the castle flag, after 60 minutes you will receive more cp resources along with friendly air support to drive IVAN back to RUSSIA! Difficuty settings determine how much money you receive at regular intervals, what vehicles you start the game with and your soldiers health base value.
    - Enemy attacks in 10 minutes intervals with 5 minute breaks in between - total of 60 minutes.
    - Limited Paratrooper drops available.
    - How to defend is up to you! Choose where to have your defense line setup.
    - Prepare to be outnumbered so plan accordingly.

    Fall 1943, Koropove, Russia - South of Kharkov. DLC2 mission/skirmish overhaul on a brand new map. You must first secure the area and then stop BM31 rocket artillery convoy from reaching front lines.

    - T-35 tank / Special operationals Panzer IIC tank available.
    - Brand new map used for this skirmish is also included as seperate mod with this package. Bog 4v4 map for both combat/assault zones multiplayer modes.

    Chemaia, 70 miles east of Safi, Morocco 1943. You play as Germany leading a counter attack in Morocco after Allies captured Safi port during Operation Torch. You must annihilate Allied forces in the open Sahara desert near Chemaia, success will open road to retake Safi Port.

    Features:
    - Heavily randomized enemy armor units, each time you play u may face different tanks and combinations.
    - Improved enemy tank recrew/repair / Over 20 new armor skins.
    - Access to Rommel's Panzer 4 tank in addition to veteran tigers(2).

    New features: Kamikaze Air Strike Hero! One of new objectives is to kill John Basilone in order to obtain Kamikaze, John is dangerous! Most of the combat takes place in deep jungle,

    NOTES: Montcuit, France, 1944, June. You infiltrate, capture and defend crosstowns in the village of Montcuit. Mission by DJSatane. Based on old MoW mission by ozka. Original map by DMS, modified for the mission by DJSatane.

    Your squad got lucky. Your soldiers found their way to assigned drop zone and now you are preparing for your mission! You have option of being stealthy early during infiltration or aggressive, your choice.
    There are patrols and convoys that you have to watch out for. Once you capture the town, you will have to prepare for series of counter attacks. You receive limited reinforcements between counter-attacks.
    Counter attacks have randomized element to them as far as what location infantry and tanks come out of. Easy & Normal difficulty are suggested for novice players. Hard offers great challenge. Heroic is well for Heroes!

    -> If you lose too many soldiers, there are emergency airborne reinforcements every 5 minutes.
    -> Please follow the hints scattered throughout the mission.

    1st: "[Soviet Union] Forest Base" Version 1.10(2/17/2012)
    Soviet Union vs. Germany

    Notes: You play as Soviet Union trying to infiltrate and capture German Forest Base in Dumde, Germany(fictional). A large forest offers unique challenge, as does enemy! Unique/additional units for purchase. New hero unit: Anti-Tank Marine Unit(ATMU) brings with them an awesome BS-3 The 100 mm field gun. A rare weapon, you can only call in 2 of them so use them carefully. Germans will call in heavy reinforcements once u cross the river and threaten the base. BM-31 is heavy multiple rocket launcher also known as 'Andryusha' is available at later stages.

    This skirmish offers a challenge, if you intend to play by yourself, easy or normal difficulty is suggested, anything above, playing it through single player mode where you can change game speed and save is recommended. It was designed to offer best challenge for 5+ players on hard or heroic difficulty. If you find bugs please reply in this thread or send me a pm.

    Sicily was updated to 1.51, this should be final version.

    ->changelog 1.51
    - enemy barge rescripted/improved logic(player must deal with it now for sure!)
    - progress % numbers were off, corrected.
    - difficulty is adjusted so that there is less enemy infantry spam a bit, should make it a bit more enjoyable than before.
    - minor optimizations in script.
    - changed burned soldiers revived selectability fix from script to human.inc method(this may cause compatibility when played with other mods such as GSM,
    but solution is to always load the other mod such as GSM *last*.

    I tested the Jap rifle grenade = bazooker3 in the GEM editor on the same spot.
    Shooting the Jap rifle grenade on the road terrain makes the correct grenade sound.
    On the bugged terrain the explosion fx effect is about the same as a hand grenade but the sound is definitely bigger than a grenade.

    I checked it out and it seems its a bug within game or rather in latest official version mowas version at the very least. Anytime terrain fx on a map are TERRAIN PP=ground & TERRAIN FX=rock it causes that kind of explosion when rifle grenade lands, oddly it doesnt happen when using at nades etc... Japaniese grenade rifle doesnt cause this either, which means something with british rifle grenade interaction with that type of terrain is incorrect.

    It happens anywhere on the map that looks like the dark brown ground in the first image, mainly on inclines, hills etc.
    For example it happens all over the steep hill on the left side of map with the small path with the German anti-tank gun on it behind sandbags.

    instead of normal grenade explosion like on the left.

    It happens on the type of ground mounds or hills on the right.

    Thankyou.
    On the test I did before posting the question about it,
    I built the sandbag on flat ground near the start flag of Benghazi.
    I am sure I had 1 only soldier selected when testing different soldiers.
    But now I know what that icon means
    I'll keep checking it.

    So if you just want to make them kneel straight away it then takes 4 or 5 clicks
    instead of just 2 when you were given just the stand, kneel and prone options.
    Did u build the bags downhill? Cause the cover system works based on height, if you build sandbags downhill the sandbag makes the soldiers prone if they can see over the bags in a straight line

    Question mark means you have multiple men selected and they're in varying stances

    behind a sandbag you only get the option to Stand or lie down / prone with ? icon

    I think that can be done, yes. We will package all our missions for AS2.


    I'm working on a new US skirm on my sicily map, won't be anything fancy (unless DJ really wants it to have something fancy). Hoping to release it this week.
