Oh it's not, I work on it off and on several times a week and it's never far from my thoughts. Freetime is the issue more than anything else. As I said, a second mech is in the game and being textured/animated now, which pretty much seals the mech creation process into something a little more streamlined than it was before.

I'm also gearing this up for Assault Squad, so it's not even compatible with the current version of vanilla MoW anymore.

Figured I'd celebrate the forums being back up with a pic of the second mech that was added to the mod:

Locust Light Scout Battlemech
2x Independently mounted 3 barrel large caliber machine guns, firing all tracer rounds for marking targets.
1x Medium Laser for light armor penetration.

Used almost exclusively for scouting and spotting for larger units. Armarments are primarily for self defense vs infantry. Very fast, but not armored for prolonged engagements.
